Examination of individuals' depression, anxiety, and stress levels during the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey

Purpose: This research was conducted to determine the depression, anxiety, and stress levels of individuals during the COVID-19 epidemic. In addition, the compatibility of the Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale (DASS-21) scale results with the participants' feeling depressed, anxious, and stressed were examined. Design and methods: The sample of the study consisted of 870 individuals over the age of 18 between May–August 2021. Bu çalışmanın amacı, acil servise başvuran COVID-19 hastalarında, çekirdekli kırmızı kan hücrelerinin, hastalığın şiddetini ve mortaliteyi öngörmedeki etkisinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu çalışma, Tıp Fakültesi, Acil Tıp Anabilim Dalında, 01.06.2020 ile 30.06.2021 tarihleri arasında retrospektif olarak yapıldı. Çalışmaya, acil servise başvuran ve COVID-19 tanısı almış 18 yaş ve üzeri hastalar dâhil edildi. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulin M/immunoglobulin G (IgM/IgG) rapid antibody test results in symptomatic patients with COVID-19 and their chest computed tomography (CT) data. A total of 320 patients admitted to our hospital for different durations due to COVID-19 were included in the study. Serum samples were obtained within 0-7 days from COVID-19 patients confirmed by reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and chest CT scan.
