Content and Reliability Analysis of YouTube Videos Regarding Minimally Invasive Endodontics: A Cross-Sectional Analysis

This study aims to evaluate the content and quality of videos related to minimally invasive endodontics available on the YouTube platform. Twenty videos were analysed using the video information and quality index for content quality, the Global Quality Scale for educational value, the Journal of the American Medical Association benchmark for source reliability and the adapted DISCERN tool, known as the reliability score, for overall information accuracy. Data were assessed using Kolmogorov–Smirnov, Mann–Whitney U and Spearman's correlation tests. The findings indicate that low-quality videos had higher view counts, while videos of moderate quality achieved higher Global Quality Scale, reliability score and video information and quality index scores.
