Endodontide mikro-bilgisayarlı tomografinin kullanımı konusunda yayımlanan makalelerin bibliyometrik analizi: nicel araştırma

Şimşek, Emine

Amaç: Bu araştırmada, endodontide mikro-bilgisayarlı tomografinin (mikro-CT) kullanımı konusunda yapılan çalışmaların yayın performansı ve eğilimlerini bibliyometrik bir bakış açısıyla incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: 18 Kasım 2024 tarihinde, ‘All Fields’ seçeneğinde sırasında birinci terim olarak “micro-CT” OR “micro-computed tomography” OR “x-ray microtomography” OR ikinci terim olarak “endodontics” OR “root canal treatment” OR “root canal therapy” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak Web of Science (WoS) taraması yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya sadece ‘Article’ türündeki yayınlar dahil edilmiştir. WoS kategorisi ‘Dentistry Oral Surgery Medicine’ ve WoS indeksi ‘Science Citation Index Expanded’ filtreleri ile sınırlandırıldığında 1999-2025 yılları arasında yayımlanmış 492 makale elde edilmiştir. Evaluation of hard tissue characteristics and calcifications in pulp tissue of hypomineralized permanent molars using micro-computed tomography

Objectives To determine and compare pulp volume, dentin mineral density, presence of microcracks, pulp stones, and accessory canals, as well as their localizations in root regions for hypomineralized and healthy teeth. Design This study included 60 extracted permanent molar teeth, categorized into hypomineralized and healthy groups (n = 30 each). The hypomineralized group comprised molar teeth with limited white, yellow, or brown opacities, post-eruptive breakdown, or extensive restoration or crown damage. The healthy group included caries-free molar teeth without these characteristics. Using 3D micro-computed tomography images pulp volume, dentin mineral density, and the presence and locations of microcracks, pulp stones, and accessory canals were determined for each group. Statistical...

Micro-CT evaluation of marginal and internal adaptation of composite resins using different application techniques

Cengiz Yanardag, Esra | Piskin, Yuksel

This study aimed to compare the marginal and internal adaptation of two bulk-fill and one conventional composite resin placed with different techniques using micro-CT. Twenty-one extracted human third molars with standardized mesio-occlusal cavities (a bucco-lingual width of 3 mm, a mesio-distal width of 5 mm, and a depth of 4 mm) were randomly divided into three groups (n = 7): Group 1 was restored with SonicFill 2 using sonic activation and 4 mm single layer, Group 2 with Tetric N-Ceram Bulk Fill in a 4 mm single layer and Group 3 with Clearfil Majesty Posterior using a 2 mm incremental technique. All restorations underwent 5,000 thermal cycles before micro-CT scanning. Data were analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests (p < 0.05). The SonicFill 2 group showed a significant...
