Kırsal alan ve yerleşim, geçmişten günümüze önemini korur ve kentin zenginliği ile kırsalın gelişmişliği arasında önemli bir bağlantı mevcuttur. Kent merkezlerinin üretime ihtiyacı vardır, bu da chora olarak tanımlanabilecek kırsal alanlarda yerleşimlerin gelişmesine yol açmıştır. For this purpose, the effect of the reality cards designed for astronomy subjects on students' attitudes towards astronomy, the effect on academic achievement and the opinions of students about reality cards were evaluated. The participants in the study consisted of 21 teacher candidates taking pedagogical formation training at Education Faculty at a university located in Mediterranean region of Turkey during spring semester of 2015 2016 academic year. One of the variables that can influence the performance of high-stake exams is test anxiety. The current study aimed to examine the associations between the cognitive and affective components of test anxiety with the performance of the high-stakes exam (University Entrance Exam [UEE}) in low-achiever, mid-achiever, and high-achiever groups after controlling for gender. Cranial Morphometrics of a Stranded Common Bottlenose Dolphin Tursiops truncatus (Montagu, 1821) in Mersin Bay (Northeastern Mediterranean, Turkey)

On 10 November 2017, a young male common bottlenose dolphin Tursiops truncatus (Montagu, 1821), 185 cm in total length (TL), was found dead on the Mersin Marina (36°46'065"N, 34°34'212"E) in Northeastern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Measurements of the sample performed and documented. The specimen buried to obtain the skeleton of the individual. At the end of this process, the sample was deposited in the Museum of the Systematic, Faculty of Fisheries, Mersin University, (Catalogue no: MEUMC-17- 11-001). A Faunistic Study of Diurnal and Nocturnal Lepidoptera in Darbo˘gaz, Bolkar Mountains (Ni˘gde, Turkey)

In this study, the fauna of diurnal and nocturnal Lepidoptera from the Darbo˘gaz, Bolkar Mountains in Ulukıs¸la, Ni˘gde province in the south of the Anatolian region of Turkey has been investigated. Field studies were carried out during the years 2008 and 2009. Specimens of butterflies and moths were collected from nine localities for this study. Bu çalışmada, deniz balıkları yetiştiriciliği aktiviteleri sebebiyle, başlıca yemleme kaybı ve balık dışkısı şeklinde çevreye verilen organik partiküllerin ve nutrientlerin, deniz balıkları ile entegre olarak yetiştirilen deniz süngerlerinin (Ircinia spp.), büyümesi üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır.
