Bu makale, üniversite nosyonunu konu almaktadır. Çalışmanın üzerine bina edildiği analiz çerçevesi karşılaştırmalı bir düzeyde kurgulanmış olup ilk bölümde Batı kültür tarihinin belirleyici bir unsurunu oluşturan üniversite fikrinin tarihi gelişimine ilişkin bir girizgâh yapılmakta; ardından Türk üniversitelerinde yerleşik bir hâl kazanmış olan kök sorunlar tartışılmakta; son bölümde ise, bu sorunların mikro ve makro ölçekte ortaya çıkardığı tahribatlara ilişkin tespitlerde bulunulmaktadır.

Areas of mentoring needs of novice andpreservice teachers

This research on mentoring phenomenon aims at putting forth the areas of mentoring need for the novice and preservice teachers. This study exhibits a pattern consisting of qualitative research model and takes as a basis the case study approach. Criteria sampling technique was used in the research due to reasons peculiar to the research. The research was conducted with primary teachers with one to five years of experience in his/her occupation as well as candidate teachers who haven’t started service yet. The data was collected through interviews with novice and preservice teachers. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was found out that both novice and preservice teachers need mentoring on pedagogically significant matters.

Analyzing the Secondary School Students’ Anxiety towards Science Course in Terms of a Number of Variables

This study aims to investigate the anxiety levels of secondary school students towards science course depending on a number of variables. Research sample consists of 2245 students who continue their education at public schools in Denizli (west of Turkey) in the academic year of 2017-2018. "Anxiety Scale for Science Course and "Personal Information Form" are used as data collection tools in the research. SPSS 22.0 package program is used for analysis of the data. Examination of Pre-Service Primary School Teachers' Levels of Cultural Capital by CHAID Analysis

The purpose of the study is to determine the cultural capital levels of pre-service primary school teachers; to examine the variables affecting their cultural capital levels and the level of influence of these variables. The study group of research, in which relational research model was used, consists of 449 pre-service primary school teachers. Bu araştırmanın amacı sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgileri ile öğretmenliğe hazır olma düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektedir. Araştırmada bu ilişkiye ek olarak; sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgileri ve öğretmenliğe hazır olma düzeyleri; cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir.
