Bu araştırmanın amacı, Amerikalı figüratif sanatçı Kiki Smith’in “Lilith” isimli çalışmasının görsel analizini yaparak, Lilith imgesini “femme fatale” karakter ile ilişkilendirmek ve kültürel anlamda nasıl inşa edildiği üzerine yeni anlamlar üretmektir. Sözsel ve görsel imgelerden oluşan ve iletişim aracı olarak birtakım mesajları iletmek için kullanılan görsel okumanın süreç olarak çözümlenmesi ve alt anlamlara ulaşılması deneysel okumaları zorunlu kılmaktadır. Blind Spots of Women’s Entrepreneurship: Case of Adana

The aim of the study is to determine the blind spots of women’s entrepreneurship. This study was conducted with 46 women entrepreneurs registered to Adana Chamber of Industry in Turkey in September 2019. A phenomenological research method was adopted in this research. The coding process (Conceptualization, Classification, Component analysis) proposed by Miles and Huberman (1994) was used respectively in data analysis. Findings revealed that the blind spot in entrepreneurship is the dead spot in entrepreneurship according to the field of view of the entrepreneur, which can be prevented with a different perspective and proactive behaviors, which prevents the predicting of unexpected results. Bu çalışma, 2004-2024 yılları arasındaki yerel seçim sonuçları üzerinden Türkiye'de kadınların yerel yönetimlerdeki temsil durumunu değerlendirmektedir. Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK), Yüksek Seçim Kurulu (YSK) gibi resmi kurumlardan ve uluslararası kuruluşlardan alınan verilerle betimsel analiz yapılmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular, Türkiye’de yerel yönetimlerin çeşitli kademelerinde kadın temsil oranlarının hala düşük düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir. Effects of Clove Oil and Eugenol on Anaesthesia and Some Hematological Parameters of European Eel Anguilla anguilla, L., 1758

To investigate anaesthetic and some hematological effects of clove oil and eugenol for European eel, Anguilla anguilla, L., 1758, 0.0, 0.025, 0.05 and 0.075 mlll of clove oil or 0.0, 2.250, 3.375 and 4.500 mlll of eugenol were applied to fish (80.9528.94 g). After fish was anaesthetized, half of fishes from each group were transferred into recovery tanks (to clean water), whereas, other half was retained there for next 48h. Induction time ranged between 3 and 5 min for clove oil and 2 and 5 min for eugenol. Fish reached to slh anaesthesia stage in all experimental groups except control and the lowest concentration group of both anaesthetics. Çalışma yaşamında en çok tartışılan konulardan biri iş kazası ve meslek hastalıklarıdır. Bu kapsamda iş kazası ile kadın istihdamı arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemeyi amaçlayan çalışmada panel veri analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri seti Avrupa Birliği üyesi ülkelerinden ortak veri setine sahip 14 ülke için 2000-2016 yıllarına ait iş kazası ve kadın istihdam oranı verilerinden oluşmaktadır. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine the effects of factors affecting the acceptance and use of technology on the factors affecting women’s entrepreneurship motivation. Design/methodology/approach This study was conducted with 156 women entrepreneurs in Turkey in February 2019. A mixed method evaluation design has been adopted in the study. Findings The findings revealed that effort expectancy was negatively associated with behaviour intention and push factor and positively associated with pull factor. Kadın İstihdamı ile Doğum Oranı Arasındaki İlişki Üzerine Eşbütünleşme Analizi: İsveç ve ABD Örneği

This study examines the long-term relationship between female employment and birth rate. The study used the time series analysis method based on 1991-2020 for Sweden and the USA. As a result of the analysis, a cointegration relationship between female employment and birth rate was determined for both the USA and Sweden. When the long-term coefficient estimation results for the USA are examined, it is determined that the birth rate increases the female employment rate by 0.80 in the FMOLS model, 0.91 in the DOLS model, and 0.64 units in the CCR model. In the long-term estimation results for Sweden, it was determined that the birth rate increased the female employment rate by 1.41 units in the FMOLS model and 0.71 units in the CCR model.
