Purpose–Thepurposeofthispaperistoexaminetheassociationbetweenmobbingandserviceinnovation performance.Inthiscontext,themediatingroleofboreout,anewconceptintheliterature,wasexamined. Design/methodology/approach–This studywas conductedwith 240 participants recruited in manufacturingcompaniesaffiliatedwithAdanaChamberof IndustryintheprovinceofAdanaTurkeyin November2019.Theresearchwasanalyzedbythestructural equationmodelingmethodwiththesocial exchangetheorybasis. Findings–Findingsrevealedthatboreoutandmobbingwerenegativelyassociatedwithserviceinnovation performance.Mobbingwaspositivelyassociatedwithboreoutandjobboredom.Accordingtothefindingof thisstudy,boreoutpartiallymediatedtheeffectofthemobbingonserviceinnovationperformance.
