ÖZET Çocukların bilişsel, duyuşsal, dilsel ve sosyal yönlerden gelişmelerinde etkili olan temel unsurlardan birisi de öğretmenler olarak düşünülebilir. Bu bağlamda; çocukların hazırbulunuşluk, ilgi, beğeni vb. durumlarını doğru bir şekilde tespit edilebilmesinde öğretmen adaylarına akademik anlamda verilen çocuk edebiyatı derslerinin önemi büyüktür. Çalışmada, Türkiye ve Almanya’da öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının çocuk edebiyatı dersine yönelik görüşleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada karma araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup veri toplama aracı olarak ise anket tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Söz konusu araştırma ile geçmişten günümüze büyük bir ilerleme gösteren çocuk edebiyatı ile çocuk edebiyatına dair temel ilke ve prensiplerin aktarıldığı çocuk edebiyatı derslerine yönelik olumlu/olumsuz görüşlerin ortaya çıkarılarak söz konusu dersin geliştirilmesi için ne gibi eylemlerde bulunulabileceği irdelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda söz konusu alan üzerine araştırma yapan diğer araştırmacılara yol gösterileceği ve alan yazında bir farkındalık oluşturulacağı düşünülmektedir. ABSTRACT One of the basic elements that are effective in the development of children in cognitive, emotional, linguistic and social aspects can be considered as teachers. In this context, children's readiness, interest, appreciation can be identified accurately in the case of children's literature courses in the academic sense is bigger. In the study, the teacher candidates studying in Turkey and Germany on the subject field in both countries tried to determine the opinions of the students about the literature on children's literature. Mixed research method was used in the study and surveys technique was used as data collection tools. With this research, it has been examined what kind of actions can be taken to develop the course by revealing the positive / negative opinions about the children's literature and the children's literature lessons that the principles and principles about children's literature are conveyed. As a result of the study, it is thought that this research will lead to other researchers who are researching on the subject field and to create awareness in the field.
