Inthisarticle, thegerontological factorsaffectingthesuccessful agingof theelderlyhavebeen uncovered, thequalityof lifeandsuccessfulagingissueshavebeenrelatedtogerontologyand investigatedonadifferentdimension. Ithasbeenemphasizedthat the importanceof gerontechnologyonthesuccessful aging, creationofawareness throughformalandnon-formaleducation,qualitativeandquantitativeresearchesshouldbe increased.Qualitativeandquantitative researchesonthesubjectwereevaluatedtogether,gerontologyandgerontechnologywereconsideredtogetherwithsuccessful aging, andgerontology functions andergonomics shouldbe taken intoconsideration in increasingqualityof life. Inaddition, theconceptofgeronsafety, a newconcept ingerontology,hasbeenput forward,emphasizingtheeffectsofsafetyongerontologyandsuccessfulaging. |
