Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, kadın yoksulluğunun nedenlerinden gelir, eğitim durumu ve
istihdamın kadın yoksulluğu üzerindeki etkisinin panel veri analizi ile belirlenmesidir. Kadın
yoksulluğu son yıllarda en az yoksulluk konusu kadar çalışılmaktadır. Bu kadar önemli olan bu
sorunla mücadele edilebilmesi için tıpkı yoksulluk konusunda yapıldığı gibi öncelikle kadın
yoksulluğunun nedenlerinin belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında, literatürde kadın
yoksulluğunun belirleyicileri arasında sayılan gelir, eğitim durumu ve istihdam değişkenlerinin,
Avrupa Birliği’ne tam üye ve tam üyeliğe aday olan ülkeler arasından seçilmiş 9 ülke ve Avrupa
Birliği grubunda 2007-2015 yılları arasında kadın yoksulluğu üzerinde, literatürde belirtilene benzer
şekilde negatif yönlü bir etkiye sahip olup olmadığı incelenmektedir.

The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of education and employment on
women's poverty through panel data analysis, which comes from the reasons of women's poverty.
Women's poverty has been studied in recent years to the point of least poverty. In order to be able to
combat this problem, it is necessary to determine the causes of women's poverty, just as it is about
poverty. Within the scope of this study, 9 countries selected as the determinants of women's poverty,
income, educational status and employment variables among the EU full and full membership
countries, and European Union group between 2007 and 2015, similar to those reported in the
literature on women's poverty and whether or not they have a negative effect.
