New, aminomethyldiphosphine(P C N) ligands, ((C6 H5 ) 2 PCH2 ) 2 NR (R = C6 H3(CH3 )(OH) (1a), C6 H4 OC6 H5 (1b), C6 H4 SC6 H5 )(1c)) and their Pd(II) complexes have been syn-thesized and characterized. These complexes werefound to be efficient catalysts in the Heck reaction ofactivated and deactivated aryl halide with a varietyof olefins.
