Sınıf Öğretmeni Adaylarının Epistemik Merak Düzeyleri ile Akademik Motivasyonları Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Bu araştırmada, insanların öğrenmeyi gerçekleştirebilmeleri için ihtiyaç duydukları bilgiye ulaşma arzusu olan epistemik merak ile bireylerin eğitim hayatlarındaki akademik hedeflerine ulaşma isteği olarak ifade edilen akademik motivasyon kavramları üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yönteminin bir türü olan korelasyonel karşılaştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Mersin Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği bölümünün 1.2.3. ve 4. sınıflarında öğrenim görmekte olan 158 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının epistemik merak düzeyleri, Litman ve Spielberger (2003)’in geliştirip, Yazıcı (2020) tarafından Türkçe’ ye uyarlanan “Epistemik Merak Ölçeği” aracılığıyla; akademik motivasyon düzeyleri ise Bozanoğlu (2004) tarafından geliştirilen “Akademik Güdülenme Ölçeği” ile belirlenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız t-testi, Mann Whitney u-testi, Kruskal Wallis h-testi ve basit doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, epistemik merak ve akademik motivasyon arasındaki bağıntının pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir

The Impact of Participation Bank Credits on Imports and Exports: Evidence from Türkiye

This study aims to determine the impact of participation bank credits on imports and exports in Türkiye. The research employs Generalized Linear model (GLM-logit) for identifying the effect of participation bank loans on foreign trade (export-import) by using quarterly data including the period from 2013Q1 to 2024Q2. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is used for normality of parameters. Spearman’s rho and year controlled partial correlation analysis are applied for correlations. Analysis results indicate that participation bank credits have a significant and positive effect on both export and import for the analyzed period. International trade contributes to the growth of economies by providing new market opportunities. Research findings reveal the importance of participation bank financing in Türkiye in terms of increasing the potential of foreign trade markets. Investigating the limestone quarries as geoheritage sites: Case of Mardin ancient quarry

Abandoned quarries are valuable as a tourism element, as they exhibit the building material of the buildings built in the geographical area they are located in as historical objects. However, in order to determine how the quarries can be used for tourism purposes, it is necessary to determine the constraints on the choice of solution in spatial arrangements. The aim of this study is to investigate how the ancient limestone quarry of Mardin, which is a natural and cultural geological heritage, can be used for tourism and to develop suggestions. Within the scope of the study, in order to examine the possibilities of how an idle quarry located in Mardin province in Turkey can be used for tourism, the constraints in the selection of the post-use solution will be determined. In order to determine whether the Mardin quarry is accessible and safe to visit, various field studies were carried out in the study area, laboratory experiments and analyses. The caves were scanned with a 3D laser scanner, and its plans and sections were obtained. The findings were evaluated and suggestions were developed for the use of the ancient limestone quarry for tourism.
