Macroalgae is used as a bioindicator for their accumulation capacity of potentially hazardous elements. Ulva spp. was used extensively in previous studies as in the recent study. Along the Mersin coast, sampling was made in four different locations (Çamlıbel Marina, Pozcu Marina, Deniz Feneri, Karaduvar) during the spring and summer seasons between 2015-2016. For elemental analyses, ICP-MS was used, and Mg, Al, K, Ti, Cr, Mn, As, Se, Sr, Mo levels were analyzed in Ulva rigidasamples. The highest level (134960.0 μg g-1) was found in the elemental analysis of Mg, and the lowest levels (20.83 μg g-1) were found in the elemental analysis of Se.
