Examination of individuals' depression, anxiety, and stress levels during the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey

Purpose: This research was conducted to determine the depression, anxiety, and stress levels of individuals during the COVID-19 epidemic. In addition, the compatibility of the Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale (DASS-21) scale results with the participants' feeling depressed, anxious, and stressed were examined. Design and methods: The sample of the study consisted of 870 individuals over the age of 18 between May–August 2021. The data of the study were collected online, using the personal information form and DASS-21. FMC ve malaşit yeşili sağaltım dozlarının Oreochromis niloticus (L., 1758)' un bazı kan parametrelerinde meydana getirdiği değişimler

Bu araştırma, Nil Tilapyası (Oreochromis niloticus, L., 1758)’nda FMC (formalin, malaşit yeşili ve metilen mavisi karışımı) ve malaşit yeşili’nin oluşturduğu sekonder stres gelişimine ilişkin bazı kan parametrelerinde oluşan değişimler gözlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu kimyasal maddeler, özellikle tatlısu balıkları yetiştiriciliğinde, sıklıkla profilaktik ve dezenfektan olarak yaygın bir şekilde kullanılmaktadırlar. FMC ve malaşit yeşili, 1 mg/lt konsantrasyonunda hazırlanmış ve balıklar bu konsantrasyonlara 10 ve 60’ar dakikalık sürelerle daldırılmışlardır. Clinical-practice stress levels and factors affecting these on first-year nursing students

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the stress levels of first‐year nursing students end of the first day of clinical practice and the factors affecting these. Design and Methods: This was a descriptive and cross‐sectional study. A student information form and the clinical stress questionnaire (CSQ) were used to collect the research data. Findings: The average CSQ score of the students was 23.57 ± 8.35 and it was determined that the students experienced below‐average stress. Practice Implications: In line with the results obtained from the study, it was observed that the student's CSQ scores at the end of the first day of clinical practice were below average, and their biggest fear about clinical practice was that they would harm the patient.
Metaphorical perceptions of dental students toward dental education: a cross-sectional study from Türkiye
