On the Quaternion Padovan Numbers

In the present work, we explore the concept of quaternion Padovan sequences, extending the classical Padovan sequence into the realm of quaternions. Quaternions, introduced by Hamilton in 1843, are a number system that generalizes complex numbers into four dimensions, with applications in various fields such as quantum physics, computer graphics, and three-dimensional rotations. The study begins by reviewing the definition and properties of quaternions, including their non- commutative multiplication rules and the formulation of quaternion numbers. Antiproliferative effects of hazelnut cell culture extract on the different cancer cell lines

The increasing incidence of cancer has necessitated the discovery of novel anticancer compound sources. The presence of taxanes in hazelnut cell cultures has promoted new promising pharmacotherapeutic applications. The antiproliferative properties of hazelnut (Corylus avellana cv. 'Kalınkara') cell culture extracts against different human cancer cell lines (HeLa, MCF-7, MDA-MB-231, A549) with Beas-2B as control were evaluated. The cytotoxicity of C. avellana culture extract (5 µM, 10 µM, and 20 µM) on all cell lines was evaluated with xCELLigence Real Time Cell Analysis System. Purpose: On February 6, 2023, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred consecutively in Turkey and Syria. This study aimed to investigate the predisposing factors for wound infection (WI) and the microbiological characteristics of wounds after earthquake-related injuries. Methods: This descriptive study evaluated pediatric patients’ frequency of WI, and the clinical and laboratory parameters associated with the development of WI were investigated. Results: The study included 180 patients (91 female). The mean age of the patients was 123.9 ± 64.9 months and 81.7% (n = 147) of them had been trapped under rubble.
